For us, it reflects the care taken in creating a spirit that is intrinsically linked to the estate, using foraged botanicals and a seasonal approach to production. The award is a testament to the collaborative work behind the gin, from foraging botanicals across the estate to developing the final spirit with Hawkridge Distillers. A YEAR OF REWILDING

Sublime magazine | 2024
In 2024, the estate was featured in Sublime Magazine in an article exploring a year of rewilding. The piece reflects on the transformation of the land, from the reintroduction of beavers — the first in Hampshire for over 400 years — to the return of diverse birdlife, wildflowers and thriving ecosystems. It captures an approach rooted in working with nature, allowing natural processes to lead while carefully supporting the land’s regeneration, and highlights a belief that farming, food and restoration can exist in balance.
